Government : Benton County Board of Supervisor Minutes - Budget Work - April 1, 2025

The Benton County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with Supervisors Seeman, Tippett and Volz present. Chairman Seeman called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. at the Benton County Courthouse, Auditor's Conference Room.

The Board was presented a prepared copy of the proposed FY 26 Budget. Auditor Rippel has all the compiled revenues and expenses put together along with using the proposed maximum levy's. The Board had time to look it over and ask questions.

Rippel explained they have about another week at the most to make some final adjustments before the budget notice gets scheduled with the newspapers. After that, they can't increase any spending authority, but can reduce spending authority, along with reducing levy's if they choose so. They agreed to have another work session after the upcoming April 8th normal meeting.

Volz moved/Tippet seconded: To adjourn at 6:05 p.m. Tippett, Seeman and Volz voting aye. Motion carried.
