The Benton County Board of Supervisors met in special session with Supervisors Seeman, Primmer and Bierschenk present, The meeting was called to order at 8:30 a.m. at the Amana Farms, Inc. office located in Homestead, IA.
The purpose of the meeting was to follow up from last week's land use hearing that was tabled for Amana Farms, Inc. John McGrath, Amana Farms, took the board on a tour of two different storage bin locations and also to a field where the fertilizer had recently been applied. After departing the Amana Farms locations, the board then proceeded to visit the site in Benton County where the proposed land use change is intended to take place. No action was taken, although the board will take up the matter again on Tuesday July 26, 2022 at 9:10 a.m.
Bierschenk moved/Primmer seconded: To adjourn at 10:40 a.m. Motion carried.
