Events and Activities : Authoring and Publishing with J L Wilson

Join Jean Wilson (writing as J L Wilson) to learn the elements that go into plotting a novel and what is needed to make your characters stand out on the page.

• Saturday, October 4th, 2025, 9am-10:30am: Gives an overview of the basics: defining your characters, your book's point of view, character motives, and plotting and pacing.
• Saturday, October 11th, 2025, 9am-10:30am: Digs into character development and plot development, providing you with some tips and tricks to help you either get started or refine what you've already done.
• Saturday, October 18th, 2025, 9am-10:30am: Helps you decide how to approach the business of publishing: how to draft a proposal, how to craft a query, how to look for an agent or editor, or how to self-publish your work.
