Do you know a child that loves to write or draw stories?!
Vinton Public Library is hosting a Kid Author Event! Local children are encouraged to write their own story and have a meet and greet with the public.
Children will come to the event, share their story, sign autographs, and can have a chance to read their story aloud.
Kid Author Guidelines:
3 Age Categories
-Kindergarten-2nd
-Grade -3rd-5th Grade
-6th-12th Grade
Stories can be handwritten or typed Must not exceed more than 20 pages 10,000 word limit Must be on 8.5 x 11 inch paper Written in any format you would like: picture book, chapter book, graphic novel Can include illustrations/pictures (no copyright) Turn in your story to the Vinton Public Library by March 1st.
