Events and Activities Kiwanis Park Splash Pad and Playground Ribbon Cutting Saturday, May 29

The Kiwanis Park will welcome families to the park on Saturday, May 29 with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Grand Opening ceremony which will begin at 11:00 a.m.

The Kiwanis Park Splash Pad and Playground has been a project of the Vinton Parks and Recreations Department for the last several months.  

Following the ceremony at Kiwanis Park, there will be a party following until 1:00 PM featuring DJ Tyler Sean with free burgers and hot dogs prepared by Merchant’s Grilling. There will be free t-shirts to the first 250 people.
