Join us Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 9 AM – 3 PM for our annual Jakes Day open to all Jakes (ages 17 and under) at the Izaak Walton League just north of Vinton (5667 24th Avenue Dr., Vinton)

Enjoy outdoor activities, instruction, and coaching, including: safety review, shooting .22 rifles, trap shooting, archery, trapping, and game calling. We even hope to have a live hawk and handler available to demonstrate what falconry is all about!

  • Lunch w/ drinks provided to all participants. This is a free event. One parent must be present at time of registration and is encouraged to stay for the activities but is not required.


Registration starts at 9:00 am.
