Et cetera : Iowa Bankers Association presents Athlete Achievement Award

The Iowa Bankers Association presented one of five Athlete Achievement Awards to Girls' High School 3A Basketball Player Addison Phillips, of Benton Community High School in Van Horne. The awards were given at the High School Girls State Tournament in Des Moines.

One student from each class was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the IBA to the college of their choice.

All of the recipients are listed below:

• Class 1A: Emma Erickson, Newell-Fonda High School, Newell
• Class 2A: Carly Janssen, Pocahontas High School, Pocahontas
• Class 3A: Addison Phillips, Benton Community High School, Van Horne
• Class 4A: Kileigh Lachacz, Dallas Center-Grimes High School, Grimes
• Class 5A: Averi Porter, Ankeny Centennial High School, Ankeny
