Sports : VPRD Summer registration underway

Can you believe that summer already is right around the corner? Neither can we but we are currently preparing to bring you and your family a number of programs and special events to keep you busy throughout the months ahead.

Vinton Parks and Recreation Department's summer registration is officially underway for sport programs, playground, swim lessons and pre-season discounted pool passes.

Please register your kids for their summer sport programs and playground by Sunday, April 21st to avoid incurring a late fee.

Discounted pre-season pool pass sales will continue through May 23rd and Red Cross swim lesson registrations will be accepted through May 29th.

Private Swim Lesson availability is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis until our cap has been reached. For those eligible to apply for a subsidized swim lessons and a pool pass must pickup and drop off 'Kirkland Trust' registration forms at the Vinton HACAP office.
