Sports : State wrestling: Viking Wehage ends season with 3-2 loss at State

After being pinned by the top-rated wrestler in Class 2A at 106 pounds, Vinton-Shellsburg wrestler Max Wehage won his first consolation match at the Iowa High School State Wrestling Meet Thursday evening.

Max was pinned by Patrick Woods of West Delewar then won, 13-6, over Dylan Huntoon of Spencer. In his third match, he lost to 3-2, to Devin Phaly of Sergeant Bluffs on Friday afternoon, ending his season.
