The 12U Black "A" boys baseball team traveled to Des Moines this past weekend to play in the USSSA Baseball State Tournament. After a tough loss to Carlisle, the team battled back to tie one and beat 3 and go on to win the Silver Division State Championship. Congrats to the 12U Black "A" baseball team and their coaches!
"As temperatures reached the mid 90’s, they battled teams from the Des Moines metro area as well as Eastern Iowa teams. It was an overall team effort and a great way to bring the season to a close," says Coach Stu Overton.
