Sports : Vinton-Shellsburg Vikettes to host 'Pink Game' January 13th

Once again, the Vinton-Shellsburg Vikettes will host a "Pink Game" to promote Breast Cancer Awareness.

The Vikettes will host the Marion Indians this Friday, January 13, with the JV game starting at 6:30 p.m. followed by the varsity game at 7:30.

Local breast cancer survivors will be introduced between games. The Vikettes and Indians sold t-shirts to commemorate this event and raise funds for Virginia Gay Hospital's Mammography unit.

There will be a silent auction for several items during the game, including a pink autographed basketball.
