Sports : VPRD Winter Swim starts this Sunday!‏

The New Year is upon is and the Vinton Parks & Recreation Department is proud to continue offering a slate of programs and events to keep you and your family busy during these chilly months! VPRD's annual Winter Swim begins this Sunday and is an opportunity for people of all ages to enjoy two hours of open swim time at the Braille School indoor pool in Vinton. Winter Swim will be offered every Sunday in the month of January and the specific dates are January 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th. Swimming will begin at 2 PM and will conclude at 4 PM. The cost of admission per person is $4. Call the Vinton Parks & Recreation office at 472-4164 with any questions you may have. See you at the pool!
