Vinton Aquatic Club members made an impressive showing at the recent Cedar Rapids Aquatic Association Harvest Invitational Swim Meet. Club members competed against twelve other teams from around the state. The 46 VAC athletes racked up an impressive list of wins, including two swimmers in the 8 and under categories who finished first in individual scores for their age group.
Clarissa Carolan and Marcus Albersten were both high scorers in the 8 and under categories. Alexandra Hall was 6th and Emily Levis 7th in the all-around for the girls 8 and under. In the 9-10 age group Natalie Tecklenberg was 4th and Geordyn Webster 14th for the girls. In the boys 9-10 age group Isaac Lindauer was 6th and Cyrus Elwick 7th.
Most swimmers also recorded new personal best times, an indicator of great things to come this season!
