Sports : Fall Blow-Out to include athletes in grades 7-12

The Vinton-Shellsburg Fall Sports Blowout is FRIDAY NIGHT. The Blowout starts at 5 p.m. with the FR/SO FB team scrimmage game, followed by introduction of athletes (4th-12th), concluding with the varsity scrimmage game. Admission is one sport drink (Gatorade, Powerade, etc.) which will be used for our athletes this fall. Hope to see you all there!

The Vinton-Shellsburg 7th & 8th grade fall athletes (football, volleyball and cross country) WILL participate in the Fall Sports Blowout Friday night even though they have not officially started practice.

The football teams will be organized by their coaches. ALL ATHLETES PLANNING TO PARTICIPATE IN 7TH OR 8TH GRADE VOLLEYBALL OR CROSS COUNTRY SHOULD MEET AT THE NORTH END OF THE FOOTBALL FIELD AT 5:30 PM. The coaches will meet you there and enter the field as a
group. Fall Athletes are not required to bring a beverage for admission -- they will be admitted free of charge. We encourage all athletes to participate so we can present our Vikings & Vikettes in numbers!!!
