Troy Morris III took the Modified win. Morris whose pole quickly expanded his lead over Shane Paris and Joel Rust. The trio began to pull away from the field and into lapped traffic early in the event. Rust moved into second as Jeff Aikey worked around Paris for third. Morris distanced himself from Rust as the laps clicked away. Morris took the checkers first, Rust, Aikey and Paris followed.
Great weather and great racing led to a fun Friday evening.
Joren Fisher found victory lane in the Hobby Stocks. Braxton Franks was the early leader as Justin Wacha and McKenna Koch battled for second. Fisher began to work the high line as Justin Stander and Jake Keiser challenged each other for fourth. Fisher reeled in Franks as Jerry Gifford moved into the top four. Fisher and Franks were side-by-side as laps wound down. Fisher crossed the line first, Franks, Wacha and Gifford followed.
Michael Weber was the winner in the Legends. Cohen Henze and Jeremiah Davis battled for the top spot early but it was Jordan Miklas working the high line who took the lead. Weber was hot on his bumper as the duo was back and forth for the lead. Eric Blumer had moved into the top four with a few laps remaining. Weber crossed the checkers first, Blumer, and Griffin McGrath followed.
Austin Honts was victories in the Midwest Jalopies. Honts quickly distanced himself from Jayson Blunt. Pat Bailey moved into third as the top three pulled away. Honts moved into lapped cars, but it didnt slow him down any. Honts took the win, Blunt and Bailey followed.
