Mustangs (Mount Vernon) defeat Vikings 46-30

VINTON - The Vinton-Shellsburg Viking varsity basketball team (0-5, 0-0 WaMaC West) took on the Mount Vernon Mustangs (3-3, 0-0 WaMaC East) and the Mustangs earned a 46-30 win over the Vikings in Garrison FieldHouse on Dec. 14.

Freshman Ryan Sivola led the Vikings with seven points, Kail Evans, Austin Kemp, and Max Vasquez scored four each, Cam Dunbar and Kaden Kingsbury scored three each, Reese Truax and Gunnar Moen scored each and Gunnar Schminke scored one free throw.
