No. 11 Vikettes defeat Spartans 60-57
VINTON - The Vinton-Shellsburg Vikette varsity basketball team took on the Solon Spartans inside a rowdy Garrison Fieldhouse on Dec. 10 and earned a 60-57 win over the Spartans.
Abby Davis had a career night with 22 points, Alyssa Griffith added 11 more, Ashlie Meyer added nine, Julia Johnson added seven, Sophia Kreutner had five, Brylee Bruce had four and Kalie Burke had two.
