Vikette cross country sixth at Clipper Cross Country Classic

IOWA CITY - The Vinton-Shellsburg Vikette varsity cross country team took to the Iowa City Kickers' Soccer Complex for the Clipper Cross Country Classic on Sept. 27 and finished sixth as a team with the highlight of the night being Olivia Primrose finishing ninth in the overall standings with a 24:45.76.

Senior Charlee Johnson finished just behind Primrose with a 24:46.31, for 10th in the overall standings, junior Molly Haisman ran a 28:31.62 for 21st in the overall standings, Bailey Week ran a 30:34.52 for 24th in the overall standings, sophomore Rachel Rollinger ran a 32:12.14 for 25th in the overall standings, freshman Isabel Birker ran a 35:40.06 for 26th in the overall standings and sophomore Tori Elwick ran a 35:40.07 for 27th in the overall standings.
