Sports : Lil Racer Clubhouse planning for the final two weeks at the Track

With the rainout tonight at the Bullring, the club has only two more weeks in operation at the track in 2021 planned.Next Sunday, the contents of our tan metal donation box, located on the front of the Lil Racer Clubhouse will be given at the end of the night to Cedar Valley Hospice, in memory of Crew Chief Mitch's father Glenn Swinton. His dad passed away 5 years ago, on August 15, 2016 on Mitch's mom's birthday. Hospice is an important part of a community, providing hospice and palliative care, grief support and other services to those in need. Hospice care can be for those young and old in life. Glenn was a huge supporter of the Lil Racer Car Club and would sit in the stands and watch club activities. The club will have our usual activities available and draw for prizes for Lil Racers 14 years of age and younger. We will choose a Lil Racer of the Week. The club has some gift certificates to give away but Mitch is unsure WHO lives where. Kids, when you register, tell Mitch your hometown and he just might award you with something special!See everyone on August 15 for Hospice Night at the Lil Racer Car Club!
