Sports : Benton County Bullring Lil Racer Car Club OPEN for business Saturday at the Demo

The Benton County Speedway Bullring Lil Racer Car Club will be OPEN for business this Saturday night, August 7, for the Demo Derby at the track! Power Wheel registration begins at the clubhouse as soon as grandstand gates are opened, right up until 5:45 for the 6 PM start time trackside. All power wheel drivers are expected to sign a track waiver AND have their own helmet and power wheel. The club will also have plenty of FREE freezer pops, juice and flavored water, racing flags, and trophies to give away. The club sells earplugs, earmuffs, safety glasses, goggles, and baby earmuffs-to protect the safety of the young fan. Prices are listed on the front of the clubhouse.

On Sunday night, the club, in addition to everything it normally offers the fans on race nights, the club will be holding a raffle to give its long-time mascot ( a fixture with the club since its inception in March of 2005) a new home! Lucky, the mascot dog, a 4 foot former advertising prop of Aarons Sales and Leasing stores, which was given to the club as part of the company's sponsorship package in 2005, will be going to one lucky Lil Racer who purchases raffle tickets for only 1.00 each.
