Viking Jesse Pladsen (4) named 2nd-team All-Stater as at kicker

Vinton-Shellsburg senior placekicker Jesse Pladsen was the named a 2nd-team All-Stater Monday by the Iowa Print Sport Writers Association.
Pladsen led Class 2A with six field goals during the season on just six attempts and his 42-yarder against Solon was the second-longest in 2A. In addition, Pladsen was 11 for 14 on extra points.
