For the first time in 2020, race fans were allowed to attend the racing action at the Benton County Speedway "The Bullring" in Vinton, Iowa. A good crowd attended the points racing season opener that saw 121 race car drivers take part in the action on Sunday night.
The headliner of the night was the 20 lap IMCA Modified main event. Recently relocated Tommy Berry Jr. from North Dakota, who is now an Iowa resident found the "Bullring" ¼ mile track to his liking on Sunday night. Dallon overtook his father just before the white flag was waved and went on to score a hard fought win. With the elder Murty, Damon, crossing under he checkers in second it was Scooter Dulin picking up the third spot.
