A record 86 runners hit the streets of Vinton Saturday morning for the Kiwanis Boomtown 5K race.


Cameron Karr was the overall — and overall men’s -- winner of the race in a time of 19:47, while the overall women’s winner was DeAnn Henderson in 23.17.

Men’s 20-29: Hunter Martin
Men’s 30-39: Andrew Hanscom, 22:51
Men’s 40-49: Dan McKenna, 21:10
Men’s 50-over: Dan Balvin, 22:07

Women’s Under 13: Addy Chvala, 28.36
Women’s 14-19: Makayla Mostek, 23.47
Women’s 20-29: Ali Brueter, 26.05
Women’s 30-39: Katie Mostek, 25.35
Women’s 40-49: Angela Buck, 27.37
