Union will travel to Waukon on Friday, as the 2018 Iowa High School football post-season begins. Meanwhile, Benton Community will host Greene County.
Union went to West Marshall last night, hoping for a win and an outright Class 2A, District 2 championshiop. But the 26-16 loss to the Trojans means that Union, Benton and West Marshall will share the district title and automatic playoff berths.
Benton ended its season with an 8-1 record, finishing with a 43-21 win over Vinton-Shellsburg.
