Vikettes Carley Kenney, Amelia Birker and Grace Horst each placed in the 1500M, and won another event, in the Vikette Invitational. The Vinton-Shellsburg girls track team competed in its home meet, the Vikette Invitational on Tuesday, finishing third. Winning first-place medals for the Vikettes were: Amelia Birker, 400M, 1:05.44; Grace Horst, 800M, 2.34.63; Cassie Kenney, 3000M, 12:17.47; Maddie Erhardt, high jump, 4'8"; 1600 distance medley team: Hannah Kalous, Hanna Timmerman, Sara Schminke, Grace Horst; 4:26.81. Benton Community, led by Grace Martensen and Elizabeth and EllieMasten, won first place. Marion was second. See complete results HERE.
