It was a beautiful day and the course looked great as the Vikings picked up a win against Clear Creek-Amana Monday shooting 170. Clear Creek Amana shot 195. Tyler Stueck won the card back against Grant Noren to be the medalist carding a 41, which gave Grant the runner-up medal. Mike DeLong shot 43 and Austin Bohnsack carded a 45. Bryce Shaw and David Bray both turned in a 48 for the Varsity.
The Viking JV won another contest shooting 212 with Clear Creek-Amana turning in a 235. Brian Stainbrook turned in a 48 and Tanner Cummings turned in a 49 to lead the JV squad. Other scores were: Barrett Shaw 56, Trey Rouse 59, Kyle Jorgenson 64, and Seth Patterson 64.
The Vikings have some practice time this week before they travel to Center Point-Urbana Friday.
