It was a beautiful night for golf! Dubuque Hempstead put together a really great round with a 168. I was pleased we were able to break 200 on a night when most of our team members had some holes they would have liked to “do over”. Lauren Tandy shot a 45 and tied for 5th but lost in card back for a medal. (Top five earned medals.) She and Brandi Gerber had low putts for V-S ladies with 16. Anna Sagan played her first varsity meet and shot well. Overall, we didn't play badly, but no one was happy with her score; this team is always striving to improve.

Thursday we host CPU in a dual at Wildcat Golf Course, Shellsburg. Next Monday we host 8 teams for the WAMAC West divisional meet at Vinton Country Club. Tee off is at 3:00 pm.
