The VS Vikettes won again on the golf course, defeating Independence in a dual at Independence on Thursday afternoon. Senior Lauren Tandy (44) was the medalist and sophomore Alex Maynard earned her first medal, finishing second with a 48.

The improved weather inspired our team! Varsity again broke 200. Lauren Tandy had another solid round and sophomore, Alex Maynard, earned her first varsity medal. Ms. Maynard and Emily Blake shared low putting honors with 16 each. Rachel Tandy recorded a birdie on hole #9. Emily Blake and Anna Sagan, first year team members, each shot personal bests tonight. Olivia Ketchen was absent due to illness.

Saturday varsity will compete at Benton Community's Invite with six other teams at Tara Hills Golf Course.
