V-S JV cross country girls line up to compete at S. Tama.

Both of Coach John Fraziers V-S varsity teams finished second at Trojan Invitational cross country meet Monday in Toledo.

The Vikettes came in second behind Grinnell, as five V-S girls finished in the Top 20.

The top Vikette runners included:

Liz Fischer (8th, 17:48), Karley Kenney (10th, 18:12), Alexis Peterson (13th, 18:33); Emma Horst (14th, 18:36), and Danisha Pladsen (19th, 19:01).

The Vikins finished second, also behind Grinnell.

The top V-S boys' finishers included:

Ricky Jeray (10th, 18:15), Cory Mayhew (12th, 18:17), Sam Martin (14th, 18:29), Wyatt Olltragge (18:52) and Parker Olltragge (19:02).
