For the third year in a row, Vikette softball players from several decades reunited at Thole Field to share laughs and memories and to test their skills.

As their parents and grandparents, and a few children watched, the teams played a 10-inning game Saturday evening. Organized by former player and current assistant Vikette coach Emily Grimm, the game was a "veterans" vs. "rookies" contest, with the older players challenging recent graduates. The youngesters won, 18-11.

"Veterans" included Tricia Floyd, '88; Tonya Stephens (Clark), '94; Sarah Erickson (Ries), '95; Mindy Burke (Druschel), '95; Brandi McMaster (Speckner), '97; Amanda Seiler, '02; Trisha Bunten (Merchant), '04; Heather Parker (Wygle), '04; Emily Grimm (Pohlmann), '04.

"Rookies" were Kara Roehr, '06; 2010 alumni Brittany Robertson and Kristin Bramow; Ashley Boyer, '11; Nicole Cox, '12; Rachel Clemens, '13; Bethany Stainbrook, '14; and Kathleen Steffen, '15. Natalie Nesbitt (Edwards) also played for the rookies, although she had been assigned to the veterans but switched sides to make an even nine on each team.

Grimm plans to organize another game next summer. See more photos HERE.
