Sports : Viking swimmers set many personal bests at season-ending District Meet

Facing Mason City, Decorah and five Mississippi Valley Conference schools we finished eight, not too far behind Waterloo East and Cedar Falls. The boys capped a good season with another strong performance marked by continued, significant improvement. Out of the 26 swims on the day we registered 18 new personal best times. The 200 Medley Relay team of Senior Matt Lash, Freshman Ryan Levis, Junior Anthony Dickerson and Junior Jordan Evans medaled with a 6th place finish.

Moving forward, the team loses only one senior and is looking to having back a nice group of more experienced swimmers to build on for next season.
