Wolf Creek (UNION Community) Rugby dominates to go (7-0-1) WITH TWO WINS

Isaiah Vaughan continues on his scoring frenzy this year! WOLF CREEK RUGBY rolled up two wins last Friday in Dysart, IA. The firstwin was a dominating (70-0) vs. Johnston. In the second matchup Wolf Creekwon (56-0) over Mason City. This Friday the team goes on the road to Iowa City. Vikettes finish 2nd at WD Invitational; Tandy is runner-up medalist

After struggling at the Benton Invite, the VS girls golf team played well at the West Delaware Invitational, where Rachel Tandy finished as individual runner-up, and the Vikettes finished 2nd in team scoring. Shaw, DeLong lead Viking golfers vs. Benton; team seeing improvement as season progresses

By Chad Pettyjohn, VS boys golf coach Benton Community won a dual Thursday night in Vinton. Landon Pace and Tyler Eggert led way both posting a 2 over 37. Benton beat the Vikings 155-172. Benton's JV also picked a win beating the Vikings 182-225. Zach Brown led Benton JV shooting a 44. Broc Shaw and Mike Delong posted a 40 and 41 to lead the Vikings.

Vikettes win home meet vs. S. Tama at Vinton Country Club

Rachel Tandy led the VS Vikette golf team to victory in the only meet it will play this season at the Vinton Country Club. The Vikettes hosted South Tama on Tuesday, defeating them by a team score of 190 to 230 in the varsity match.
