Opinion : Letter to the Editor: Like Launderer's Soap

Dear Editor,

When Benjamin Franklin was asked what type of government had just been created in the 1700's, he responded with, “A republic, if you can keep it." That says a lot ! The destabilization of our society, as well as the the world, is happening because, simply put, all human hearts have the capacity for wickedness and evil.

Today, as I write this, I am not writing about Democrat vs Republican, Trump vs Biden, ICE agents vs protestors, etc.

This is what I refer to as the “sea-level” view of our current state of affairs. It is still legitimate and important. However, let me explain a different view.

Recently as I was pondering the news, a phrase from the Bible kept repeating in my heart, “...like launderers' soap...” It went on for a couple of days.

“But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire, And like launderers’ soap. He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver...” (Malachi 3:2)

In the Bible, soap was harsh. It was strong, to the point of bleaching and purifying garments. This was not a bar of Dove soap, all pretty and gentle. It likely caused irritation, and even had a pungent odor. It was a scrubbing to remove strong stains (of sin too.)

God has always been mindful of nations and cities, as well as their leaders or governments. God told Abraham He would make him the father of many nations. It was because of God's love for the people of Nineveh that He sent the prophet Jonah to tell them to repent for their wickedness.

“Now the word of the LORD came to Jonah son of Amittai, saying, 2 “Get up! Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickednesss has come up before Me.” (Jonah 1:1)

God deals with leaders, presidents, and dictators too. While King Belshazzar put on a feast, he suddenly saw God's finger write on a wall. It judged his heart and deeds and told of the consequences to him.

At that very moment the fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of the royal palace wall, opposite the lampstand. The king was watching the back of the hand that was writing. Then all the color drained from the king’s face and he became alarmed. The joints of his hips gave way, and his knees began knocking together.” (Daniel 5:5-6)

Yes, today a deep scrubbing is needed, of individuals and our government.

There is an antecedant action to what is happening at our sea level, earthly realm. It is what is taking place at the “30,000 foot level.” This is what I refer to as the Lord's doing.

Has the Lord said, enough is enough! Is it He who has just begun to shake the bedrock under the entrenched, fortified “kingdoms” of bad actors?

They are kicking and screaming now because they realize their exposure is imminent. The frailty of their kingdom is now paper thin and crumbling. Consider the US AID, Big Pharma, the powerful and wealthy, especially those who hold the purse strings in Congress and government, regardless of political party. Even now, it includes other countries as well.

This is where I acknowledge that God, although unseen, is always on the scene. He is not now, nor ever has, operated from a position of being out-done, out-numbered, or out-smarted.

I believe the Lord will delay no longer. He is bringing to light buried truth, hidden and obscured from ordinary

citizens by a complicit MSM.

God would only launder the United States if He wanted to keep us, because He cherishes us. We won't be thrown out

on the ash heap of history.

The current president and his administration are not “kings,” and I don't agree with how everything has been done. However, they are rather a tool used by God, the only true King, to accomplish His plan for America. That includes keeping us a sovereign nation, having safe borders, having clean election/voting laws, and being light to the rest of the world, etc.

The article below may reveal why the current administration seems imposing and relentless in their goals, at home and overseas. The enemy is not just overseas, but in our hemisphere, and has informants/bad actors covertly in our country's military and government. Some are sitting in congress, are judges, or mayors and governors.

Hugo “El Pollo” Carvajal Barrios, is the ex-insider noted above. He's in prison in the USA. Note his comment about two-thirds of the way down, “ that the current administrations policies are important and appropriate with the threat against our nation.” Our Commander In Chief must see the global picture of what is going on.

As I watch the news, I am neither anxious nor fretful about the future of myself or the United States. Yes, the launderer's soap, although harsh and with pungent odor, is being applied to my nation right now. From the 30,000 foot level, this is the Lord's doing. And it's a good thing!
