Opinion : TDS: Comey

A mind virus known as Trump Derangement Syndrome, otherwise known as TDS has taken over parts of the country. This week former FBI Director James Comey came down with a bad case of it. As his version of the truth goes, he was out on a walk, and ran across some seashells. Now it wasn't the one that he ran across back in October of 2024, that said, "Vote Harris" but a series of shells. These shells were laid out to spell out "8647." I'm sure some toddler was just learning their numbers...

One of the supposed smartest men in the country said he had no clue that the number 86 meant anything serious. I mean the guy was only in the FBI where they investigated threats all the time. Now let's suppose just for a second that Comey really did run across these shells. Should he a) take a picture and post it, keeping in mind that he IS a former FBI Director b) report the find to, oh, I don't know the FBI or 3) post a picture and make up a story about how he just stumbled across the shells.

Did you know that if you put someone in a suit and tie, you assume that their IQ is at least average. Put that same suit and tie in Washington D.C . and you assume the IQ is higher than the average American. Retire them, take away the suit and tie, put them on a beach in flip flops and apparently the sun cooks their brain. Then they can't remember a thing about their previous line of work.

Comey claims that he didn't have a clue that this was a threat. He thought it was just a political statement. It was. It was a statement to tell everyone to kill the president. The one that has already been shot once, the one that had another attempt on his life thwarted he and that just wasn't good enough for ya, was it Jimmy?

According to the Urban Dictionary, if you want someone 86'd, it means: "To get rid of; to remove. Most commonly used in the restaurant industry today. It's origin shows it was commonly used in the late 1800's and was a contraction for "take 'em 8 miles out and plant 'em 6 feet deep". It was basically a request(order) to have some removed from the face of the earth.

In restaurants, it means to take an item off the menu or available food list because they have run out (or are having issues with) an item or to quit service or allow entry to an individual."

Now, unless Trump was at some beachfront restaurant nearby throwing food, well, it's obvious that Comey put out a hit on President Trump. Of course, Comey who has worked to put away the mob, has no idea what 86 means. If you believe that, well, you must work in Washington D.C.

I have to admit, I admire Donald Trump Jr. for hitting the beach shortly after and finding his own seashells which spelled out, "Trump Won B****." Like Don Jr., I'm so over the continuous threats, attempts on the president's life and the hundreds of idiotic things that appear to come from the left.

Yet, when caught, Comey gave the, "Who me? What'd I do? I didn't have a clue..." face of innocence. The same face that your ex gave you.

Personally, a man who held this position, who darn well knows what 86 means when referring to a person and a man who dares to share it to his 1.1 million followers, should be put in his own "double wide" prison cell like he suggested should happen to Trump.

Unlike the FJB trend throughout the Biden presidency, there were never any threats to the man. A lot of frustration with whoever was running the White House and the autopen, but I never heard of anyone wanting the guy dead. Even now, no one is wishing that on him. (Update: and now with his new cancer diagnosis, like anyone else you hear about that just got that diagnosis, your heart sinks, knowing it's going to be hard on him. So even though his policies weren't ones I favored, I am still praying for him to get through this.)

As long as President Trump is breathing, there will always be a call for his death. And if you agree that this is good, seek some help. But do you suppose Comey had some other reason for posting such an insane thing?

Did I mention that Comey has a book coming out this week? They say any publicity, even bad publicity, is good publicity. I'm sure this stunt a week before his new book hits the shelves never crossed his mind either.
