Letter to the Editor: Go Donald, Go!

Dear Editor,

It is becoming more and more apparent that the Democrat party has no leader, no direction, and no solutions to the problems confronting our working class. How come border crossings by illegals went from thousands to a few hundred in less than a hundred days?
How about an executive who has a spine and a vision! MAGA. Go Donald GO!

jt May 2, 2025, 11:36 am Remember the Immigration bill that was written and passed in the Senate with bipartisan support during the Biden administration that included dollars for enhanced border security, more agents, judges? Then Trump who was running for office got the Republican controlled House to not even bring it to the floor because he did not want the "fix" to happen on Biden watch. Now he can claim any improvements as his doing. Typical manipulation to make himself look good!

DL May 2, 2025, 2:24 pm JS, This is so hypocritical of you. The bill that would've FIXED the issue, was torpedoed by Trump, during the Biden Administration. Trump's answer was to put a band-aid on the gapping hole, by sending our military to the border. How about all of the American Citizens being deported, or being detained for weeks at a time? Just yesterday, ICE raided a home in Oklahoma City, and address they we're given by their intelligence. Twenty ICE agents went into the house, guns pulled. What they found was a Mother and her 3 minor Daughters. They had moved into that house, along with their Father, who was at work. The family we're all American citizens. ICE forced them outside, into the front yard, while it was raining, and one teenage daughter only wearing her underwear. ICE had a search warrant, but with a different name on it. Forcing a teenage girl outside in the rain, in only her underwear! Are you proud of your tax dollars at work, there? Many other American Citizens have been put through similar situations. Also, you spent the whole 4 years, of the Biden Administration, complaining about your 401K. The Nasdaq increased by 46% in those 4 years. It's down 11% since your cult leader got ahold of it. Now, with a tariff induced recession on the horizon, are you proud of that? Are you proud of the $18 Million spent every time Trump goes to Florida to play golf (which was 31 out of the first 100 days)? Prices continue to go up, negative growth for our economy, in the 1st quarter. Automobiles set to go up 25-50% in just days. Your cult leader telling our country that their kids might not get a Christmas this year, because the shelves will be empty by then. I don't think the figures are in yet, on how many billions of dollars will be coming in from the island with only birds inhabiting it. So, I'll have to hold off on that.

GB May 2, 2025, 5:40 pm Actually there typical manipulation was done by the Democrats who made the claim they needed a borders bill to stop the invasion of our country to begin with! They never needed a bill or more laws! They only needed to enforce the laws already on the books (Biden chose to ignore). The Border bill was nothing but a scam. In it was more legislation to give illegals a pathway to citizenship, which was what that bill was about. It had every little to do with actual border security. It also did nothing to address the issue of 10 million illegals already here under Biden or the estimated 300,000 missing children who came here illegally that Biden handed over to anyone and everyone. That issue alone will get a hell of a lot worse before it ever gets better, especially for those children. This country (and God) will not judge Biden in a positive light as a result. We have yet to find out what happened to 300,000 children and yet I sincerely fear it will not be good and will become a deep and festering wound on this country.

RB May 2, 2025, 6:25 pm I have to shake my head when people like John say the Democrats have no leader and then voted for a convicted felon and rapist. Bet he makes you proud! How’s your 401K? You will see the leadership come November, 2026. The revolution won’t happen like the mob sent on the capitol in 2021. It will be at the ballot box. If I remember right John is a veteran and still supports a guy that called guys like him sucker and losers. Time to wake up and smell the roses!

JS May 3, 2025, 6:36 pm GB had it right. Dems never wanted the border closed or it would have occurred. Critics have no solutions only empty rhetoric. Otherwise the Harris would have done so. The Donald did not need Congress, he just did his job as the executive. Nice spin but inaccurate. Homan acted. Good job. Spin your misinformation somewhere else.

GB May 3, 2025, 9:16 pm The Democrats have No Leaders. Just losers. AOC and boneheaded Bernie are not leaders. Both are Socialists.
The only single thing Bernie has accomplished in his extended stay in Congress is naming a Post Office in Vermont. If anyone calls that leadership, they belong on the short bus licking the windows. AOC is no better. She wants a tax on white people! That is their current leadership, as incompetent as it is, that's it.
