Letter to the Editor: January 6 Pardons

Dear Editor,

January 6 Pardons: Pardons were issued to 1500 involved in Jan 6 attack on the US Capital. Sentences were commuted for 14 others. Included were 169 people who pled guilty to assaulting police officers. While considering where to draw the line, Trump is reported to have declared "F* it! Release 'em all."

Conclusion: Declare "Back the Blue" only when votes are needed, otherwise back to the golf course.

GB February 21, 2025, 3:21 pm Most of the video I saw from this event, I saw the Capital Police allowing protestors in the doors and even a few giving tours. I would hardly call that an attack.
Sounds like the comments you made came out of a Democratic Party Handbook. Remember when they called for the defunding of the police? I do..

SJW March 5, 2025, 7:56 pm I watched the January 6 insurrection, planned by Trump, Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, idiots in horned hats. One police officer was trapped by a door with insurectionists pushing on it, as he was screaming in pain. Other officers had their heads cracked by fire hydrants and batons and other weapons. Trump had the metal detectors turned off so his minions could bring guns on Capitol grounds. You people are so ignorant and naive and STILL support the Nazi in Chief. You deserve what is coming to you.
