VAN HORNE:     William David "Bill" Fry, 48,  died Monday, February 25, 2013 at University Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, following a long illness.    

     Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m.,  Friday, March 1, 2013 a.m., at Salem United Methodist Church in Van Horne with Rev. Rose Marie Calderon-Khan officiating.  Interment will be held at Salem Cemetery in Van Horne.  Friends may call at Phillips Funeral Home in Keystone from 4 to 7 p.m., on Thursday.  A Memorial Fund has been established.

     Bill was born June 19, 1964 in West Union to Edward and Mary (Glick) Fry, and graduated from Benton Community High School in 1982.  He graduated from Kirkwood Community College with a degree in Agriculture Mechanics.

     Bill worked on the Fry family farm and had worked at Stoney Creek in Blairstown for several years.  He also owned Bill's Lawn Mowing Services in Van Horne. In his spare time, he enjoyed Karaoke and was an accomplished woodworker.             

     He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Nadine Fry and his maternal grandparents, Maynard and Rosaline Glick.

      Bill is survived by his parents, Edward and Mary Fry of Van Horne; his brothers, Steve (Cindi) Fry of Van Horne, Tim Fry of Van Horne; his sister-in-law, Caryn Fry of Van Horne; his nieces and nephews, Andrew, Joshua and Hope Fry and Misty, Emma and Gracie Fry and his ex-wife Tracy Evans and her three children, Kayla, Miranda and Alex.
