Kevin C. Faas

VINTON: Kevin C. Faas, 56, died Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton following an extended illness.

In accordance with Kevin's wishers there will be no public services.

Kevin was born August 28, 1956 in Cedar Rapids to Mel and Leita (Feckley) Faas. On October 5, 1984 he married Deb Haefner in Vinton.

He was a trucker and Kevin truly loved his children.

He is survived by his wife, Deb; his children, Danielle (Nick) Soteros and Matt Faas, all of Vinton; his mother, Leita Faas of Vinton; and his brother, Mike (Beverly) Faas of Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his father.

RP February 6, 2013, 4:31 pm Kevin worked for me as a driver and as an owner/operator for many years. I received many comments as to how polite he was with all those he came into contact with. I wish more people were as repectful of others as Kevin was. He was a friend to all who came to know him. He will be greatly missed.
