Thelma Burroughs
Thelma I. Burroughs, 62, of Oelwein, died Thursday, March 29, 2012, at her residence. Graveside services: 1 p.m. Monday, April 2, at Maplewood Cemetery in Vinton.
Thelma was born Dec. 5, 1949, in Vinton, to Ken and Beulah (Covington) Hamor.
Survivors include her sons, Gary (Amanda) Hamor of Oelwein and Wayne (Tanya) Hamor of Salina, Okla.; daughter, Christine Hamor of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, Desaray, Kayla and Isaiah Hamor; two brothers, Johnny (Sandy) St. John of Oelwein and Harry St. John of Cedar Rapids; and two sisters, Tish Doyle and Helen Kester.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale; one brother, George St. John; and one grandson, Damiean.
Phillips Funeral Home in Vinton is in charge of arrangements.
