Quasqueton - Neville Rollin Randall, father of Denise Wrucke of rural Dysart, died on Sunday, May 9, 2010, at his cabin on the Wapsipinicon River north of Independence, Iowa. He was 88 years old.

He was born on October 15, 1921, in Independence, Iowa, the son of Rollin Austin and Pearle Ione (Neville) Randall. He graduated from high school in Independence with the Class of 1939. On December 8, 1942, he married Dorothy Amber Osborn in Independence, Iowa. She preceded him in death in 1997. On July 18, 1997, he and the former Phylliss June Vandaver were married in Independence.

Mr. Randall was an electrician, a farmer, and excavator. He retired in 1991. Mr. Randall enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Photography and CB radios were his hobbies.

Mr. Randall is survived by his wife, Phylliss, 6 sons, Kerry (Barbara) Randall, Paul (Norma) Randall, Larry (Janice) Randall, Ray (Lori) Randall, Kevin (Mickey) Randall, and Timothy (Donita) Randall, and 4 daughters, Linda (Richard) Stacey, Susan (Tom) Schneider, Denise (Mike) Wrucke, and Violet (John) Leonard. He is also survived by 1 daughter-in-law, Gail Randall, 3 step sons, Tony (Alex) Vandaver, Rob Vandaver, and Daniel (Ruby) Vandaver, 3 step daughters, Cindy (Randy) Spece, Pamela (Vern) Phillips, and Deanna (Bill) Porter, 31 grandchildren, 19 step grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 1 step great grandson.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at the White Funeral Home in Independence, Iowa, with Dr. Chuck Clark officiating. Casket Bearers will be Joshua Randall, David Stacey, Joseph Randall, Brian Randall, Jamie Randall, Kyle Randall, Ted Tollefson, Steve Stacey, David Randall, Thomas Randall, Jason Randall, Cody Randall, Brandon Wrucke, Daniel Nelson and Jacob Leonard.

Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery in Independence. Friends may call for visitation from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11th, at the funeral home.
