Patricia "Pinky" (Jermyn) Von Ahsen passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025, at the Keystone Care Center, with her family by her side.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2025, at St. John Lutheran Church in Newhall with Pastor Steven Rempfer officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., also at the church. Interment will be held at St. John Cemetery in Newhall, following the service, with luncheon immediately after.

Pinky was born November 13, 1951, in Tucson, Arizona, to Patrick Jermyn and Myrtle Krohn. She and her twin sister were raised by her maternal grandparents Oscar and Emma Krohn, in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Pinky met Dennis Von Ahsen while he was stationed in the U.S. Navy, in Gulfport, Mississippi.

She married Dennis on March 16, 1974, at St. John Lutheran Church in Newhall. They raised their two sons on a farm near Newhall. She worked many years in the banking industry, starting at Merchants National Bank and recently retired from TransAmerica after over 20 years. Her hobbies included reading and the occasional trip to the casino.

She enjoyed watching her sons' activities as they grew. Pinky's greatest joy was spending as much time with her grandkids as she could, and she loved them with all her heart.

She is survived by two sons, Nick (Angie) and Jeff; grandchildren Will, Emma, and Owen; twin sister Patty Bridges; sister Beverly Bobinger; and many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; grandparents, Oscar and Emma Krohn; mother, Myrtle; father, Patrick; in-laws, Eldon and Helen Von Ahsen; sister-in-law, Sandra Kay Von Ahsen; brother-in-laws, Parham Bridges and Larry Bobinger; uncle Sam (Dixie) Krohn.

Special thanks to Pastor Steven Rempfer and Holly Bierschenk for their care and support. Also, thanks to the staff at the Keystone Care Center.
