Obituaries : Beverly J. Lynch

Beverly Joan Lynch, 91, formerly of Vinton, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel Stateroom.  A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.She was born on October 25, 1933, in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of Edgar Merle and Gertude (Meeker) Laird. She married Donald Lynch on December 26, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Beverly was a homemaker who took great pride in devoting herself to her family and home. Once her children were grown, she worked as a receptionist /secretary for Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton Iowa.  Then for 10 years as secretary for Pekin Insurance. Beverly loved knitting, hand crafts and watching and keeping up on sports. She loved to spend time with her family and was loved by all.Beverly is survived by her children, Donald (Betty) Lynch Jr. of Dumacus, MD; Doreen (Ric) Havlik of Broken Arrow, OK; Barbara (Sean) Francke of Cedar Rapids, IA; Belinda Lynch of Broken Arrow, OK; and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald Lynch and a son Brian Lynch, and a brother, Daivd Laird.Memorial contributions may be made in Beverly's name to a charity of your choice.
