Beckie was born April 7, 1966, in Vinton, the daughter of Larry and Sandy (Laton) Driscol. She attended school in Vinton, graduating from Washington High School in 1984.
Beckie was previously married to Tracy Walker and later to Chester Hobbs. Though both marriages ended in divorce, she remained a lifelong friend of Tracy, the father of their son, Chance. Beckie worked many jobs, some of which included John's, Fast Stop, and Koops Sales and Service.
In earlier years, Beckie enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and collecting anything related to Harley's. She then developed a passion for painting on rocks, crafting, reading, and spending time with her special cat, Bubba.
Left to cherish Beckie's memory are her parents, Larry and Sandy Driscol of Vinton; sisters: Deborah (Brian) Corlew of Colona, IL, and Kimberly (Chad) Riffey of Vinton; four nieces and nephews; and several other family members.
She was preceded in death by her son, Chance Walker; paternal grandparents, Wallace and Kathryn Driscol; maternal grandparents, Lee and Doris Laton; and several other family members.
A memorial fund has been established.
