Linda M. (Frimml) Timm, 57, of Searcy, Arkansas, formerly of Newhall, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, ather home in Searcy, following a sudden illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at St. John Lutheran Church in Newhall, with Rev. Nick Palmer officiating. Interment will be held at St. John Cemetery in Newhall. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel (212 E. 6th Street) in Vinton. A memorial fund has been established.

Linda was born June 8, 1966, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Robert and Marlys (Werning) Frimml. She graduated from Benton Community High School, with the class of 1984, where Linda was a member of the track and cross-country teams, as well as the Benton band and jazz band. While in High School, Linda was very active in 4-H, where she served on the 4-H Council at the Benton County and State of Iowa levels. She also served as Benton County Pork Queen from 1983 to 1984. Linda was a very active servant at St. John Lutheran Church during her school years.

She attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD, and graduated from Eastern Montana College with a B.S. in Special Education and Elementary Education. Following College, Linda worked for the Boy Scouts of America in Minneapolis and later, for the Minneapolis Heart Institute. In 2013, She moved to Searcy, Arkansas, where she worked for Unity Health Systems, and was currently employed by Illumifin Corporation, in the Long-Term Care Insurance division.

Linda is survived by her mother Marlys Frimml of Newhall; her sons, Patrick (Jenny) Timm of Vandais Heights, MN, and Parker Williamson of Minneapolis; 2 grandsons, Henry, and Nathan Timm; her sister Jennifer (Mehrdad) Akbar of Bentonville, AR; 2 brothers, Chris (Julie) Frimml of Newhall, and Matt Frimml of Eva, AL; as well as several nieces and nephews; aunts & uncles; cousins; many friends, and her 2 two special pups, Sammy & Minna.

She was preceded in death by her father Robert Frimml in February; and her maternal grandparents, Harvey and Ruth Werning; and her paternal grandparents, Cecil and Luella Frimml.
