Dino Michael Rubino, 63, of Vinton, Iowa sadly left us on April 11, 2024 after a hard fight with a sudden illness. Dino is survived by his wife, Dawn (Vinton), son Josh (Carey) Ankeny, Rose (Jimmy) Mt Auburn, Shannon (Carrie) Cedar Rapids. Dino had seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Dino also has three brothers and one sister. Frank (Elaine) Waterloo, Rick (Lisa) Texas, Garry (Marilyn) Oklahoma, LuAnn (Mike) Diers Texas.
Dino was born in Oelwein, Iowa to parents Donna and Anthony Rubino on October 27, 1960. He joined the Army and served from 1980 to 1984 in various states and in Germany. He was a family man who loved his family unconditionally and loved with his whole heart. He was big into music, being a drummer in several bands over the years. Some of those bands he was also the singer. He shared his love for music with his children. Dino loved to be outside with his family, whether he was fishing or sitting around a bonfire, telling stories and cracking jokes.
Dino is preceded in death by his father, Anthony Rubino; mother, Donna Rubino; sister, Diana Rubino and granddaughter, Jenna Reeves.
Funeral services will be held at the Mt Auburn Methodist Church at 201 Traer Street on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 10:00 am. Luncheon to follow at the Mt Auburn Community Room. In lieu of flowers, condolences can be made to the family.
