Albert D. Moore Jr., age 62, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at his home in Vinton.

A Celebration of Albert's life will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be directed to the family.

Albert was born on July 29, 1961 in Muscatine, the son of Albert Daniel and Florence (Hubbard) Moore Sr.  

Albert had worked as a house painter, in housekeeping at Super 8 and Holliday Inn Hotels and at the Vinton Family Restaurant prior to his retirement.  He loved fishing and enjoyed playing poker on his computer.

Survivors include his life partner of 55 years, Dorothy Neuenkirk; daughter, Kelly (Russell) Stratton of Mt. Auburn; 4 grandchildren, Dylan, Dustin, Elizabeth, and Dakota Stratton; 2 great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, and Alexis Stratton, all of Mt, Auburn; many extended "grandchildren"; 2 sisters, Mary, and Beverly; and his brother Melvin.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and 4 brothers.
