Wallace Gene Williams

Surrounded by his children, Wallace 89 years of age, passed away, after suffering from Lewy Body Dementia. Wallace was born in Belle Plaine, Iowa to Horatio Claude and Helen Belle Williams.

Wallace lived a full life. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He earned a BA in Business from Portland State University. After moving to Oregon he went to work for Southern Pacific Railroad, advancing to Locomotive Engineer, and was an officer in the union.

He then became a real estate appraiser working for the government, eventually opening a private appraisal business. Wallace had many interests, flying his private airplane, gardening, cooking, skiing, travel and attending his children's and grandchildren's activities.

Wallace was preceded in death by his grandson, Andrew Frogner; daughter, Jeannie Williams; as well as his five siblings. Wallace is survived by his sister, Sandra Golightly; his children, Camille Dallara, Robyn Frogner (Mitch), Marc Williams (Andrea), Melissa Extine (Chris); eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
