Juanita Ann (Kutcher) Schulte, age 82 of Norway, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2022, surrounded family. She was born on the farm, east of Oxford, on March 4, 1940 to her parents, Roy J Kutcher and MaryAnne (Bowman) Kutcher. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1958 and studied nursing at Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Iowa City, from 1958-1961. On October 4, 1961, Juanita married Matt Schulte at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oxford. Together the couple lived in Norway.
Juanita's life revolved around taking care of others; nursing, home heath care, and caring for family. She loved to travel taking trips to Europe and Mexico.
She is survived by two sisters, Helen (Mick) Schulte and Kathy (Gomer) Tandy, many nieces and nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Matt J "Junie" Schulte; her parents; two brothers, R. John Kutcher and Richard Kutcher; one sister, Pat Piper.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at St Michael's Catholic Church, Norway with Father Craig Steimel officiating. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 26th at St. Michael's Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Camp Courageous or Unity Point Hospice.
