Mary Conway, 74, of Vinton, passed away at her home on Monday, May 23, 2022 following a lengthy illness.
Per Mary's wishes, there will be no services. Van Steenhuyse-Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.
Mary was born In Iowa City on May 31, 1947, the daughter of Wes and Elizabeth (Muesse) Parson. For over 30 years, Mary was the laundry supervisor at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Amana.
When time allowed, Mary loved to go to garage sales where she would "hit the jackpot" when she found memorabilia to add to her Pepsi collection. Mary's devotion to her children made her a very loving mother.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Laurie Conway of Vinton; her son, Michael Conway of Vinton; and her sister, Betty Graesser of Middle Amana.
Mary was preceded in death by her brothers: Leroy and William Parson; sister, Rose Blount; and brother-in-law, Leroy Graesser.
