Linda Kae Debus, 74, of Marion, Iowa passed away Monday, Aug. 2, 2021, at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. The family will greet friends and family from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, at Rampton Cemetery in Dysart, Iowa.

Linda was born June 23, 1947, in Vinton, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Beatrice (Obrosk) Losenicky. She graduated from Dysart High School in 1965. Linda retired from Collins Radio after many years in the assembly area. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. She loved to sew and quilt, and made hundreds of purses. Linda always said a day without sewing is a bad day. She also enjoyed lunches with Ron, shopping with Gini, traveling to Hawaii and spending time with people.

She is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband, Ronald Debus of Marion; sister, Sharon (Duane) Carpenter of Cedar Rapids; best friend, Gini (Kirk) Hayes of Cedar Rapids; three aunts; nieces, nephews, and extended family; and her cat, Elvis

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Linda's memory may be directed to the American Cancer Society, Heart Association, Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of Mercy.
